Joint Pain

Joint pain, especially if you have osteoarthritis is not only painful but negatively affects your entire life. Traditional medical practice has been to prescribe anti-inflammatories –like ibuprofen or even Vioxx. However, these may or may not be effective and all seem to have the potential for some serious side effects.

Studies done by functional medicine groups have determined that diet changes can make a major change in joint pain – for the better. Some fatty acids and the foods that produce them have been found to make joint pain worse. Some studies suggest that the wrong diet can actually bring on arthritis.
